The poor thing just sits there on my windowsill, neglected & with it's stones gathering dust all winter, then without missing a beat gives me this display every spring.

I think that little prickly plant wants to make sure we notice its beauty. . .it grabs your attention anew each spring with that big bloom, but just look at the gorgeous geometric design it sports all year 'round!
