A lovely form

I'm trying to figure out a 'thumbnail' to use for the link to chainmaille on my website. I'd also like to be able to use the same props for jewelry & beads - to attain a sense of cohesiveness & flow throughout the main page of links.

I love the form of this photo - but will it be indicative enough of what lies beyond???

Deb, the form is beautiful! This would make a terrific poster to hang in your booth if you do shows. When you make it thumbnail size, can people still see the chainmaille clearly? Can you zoom it any more without losing the stunning form?

Amazing photograph! Hope you can find a way to work out the thumbnail. Beautiful chainmaille also.

Thanks ladies - Ang, that's my problem really, once resized to around 240 pixels the chainmaille becomes indistinct. If I zoom it in for the thumbnail I loose the form - & it's the form that I love.

Maybe I should just give it a try & hope that people click to see the chainmaille - having been tempted by not having a clear view of them.....?

Deb, I hope you figure it out! I have almost the same problem when I list my sculptures-- Etsy has square pics, but my ladies almost always require a long rectangle of space. . .so they get lost in the square field if I show all of them. How would your form look if you hung two or three of the chains from the center loop and draped them behind the lower curve? Would the black negative space form be too interrupted? That great form has been on my mind since yesterday-- it is a keeper that people will definitely remember and recognize!

Deb, this photo is gorgeous. I hope you found a way to use it.

(personally, I'd make it into a postcard to give out at shows. People will have seen your chain maille and this will help them remember.)
